Dunno. But it sounds like this restaurant isn't for you.

Why are you on this site? What parent of small children can possibly go out to dinner at such an early hour without kids (thus needing a babysitter at such an early hour) and then be gone for an unknowable amount of time? It may not be the right place for me (or anyone else employed, with children, without a nanny, between the ages of 28-48, etc.), but this isn't the right place for you.

I actually don't go, for exactly those reasons. But I don't whine about it when a successful business model isn't tailored made for my schedule.

Please take your snark to another forum.

You go early and you have a couple drinks while you wait. Have you never been anywhere hot before?[/quote

What do you mean?

I love it!! Both times we went, we showed up slightly before it opened. Now given the latest accolade, I might show up 30 minutes to 45 minutes early and wait till it opens. But then I don't mind eating early.

Yes, thank you, I have and I'm used to making reservations. If there are lines out the door, I assumed that there isn't enough room at the bar to have a drink to wait.

You have a drink at a nearby bar. They text you 15 minutes out.
