If it smells good and you're going to cook them thoroughly, there shouldn't be a problem. Some people here are way too conservative...

Five days is a long time. Particularly for chicken. I'm pretty lax about this kind of thing (I routinely thaw meat on the counter overnight without incident), but bad chicken is painful. Plus, wings are cheap. Buy a new pack.

Food laden with bacteria does not necessarily smell spoiled.
5 days is too long. I'd throw them out and disinfect the shelf they were on.
Food borne illness is very common. The smell test is likely one reason why.

It depends... too many factors to give a blind answer...

You could do the smell test. Also where was it from? I have bad luck with trader joes meat going bad fast.
