Most adults are immune already. That said, I did catch it from my toddler and got really sick. HFM itself isn't bad for a pregnancy, but it can give you a high fever which should be treated to be lowered. Check with your RE, but I doubt they'd postpone unless you actually get sick before the transfer.
If I remember correctly, my symptoms followed about a week after ds started, maybe a little less. And I was pg with dd at the time, and she's fine
