I like this idea. Now almost 38 weeks and I remember starting to feel a lot better around the 12 week mark.

No, what's driving up costs is people wanting everything paid for by somebody else.

Totally normal. You're starting the good part of pregnancy -- you'll feel good, full of energy, not huge and uncomfortable yet. Enjoy it and use the energy for projects you want to take care of before the baby gets here!

OP, that happened with both my pregnancies--totally normal. The changes you see in your belly before that point are related to water retention and other hormonal changes, not the baby (who is still teeny tiny). I didn't start to show for real with #1 til 22 weeks and 16-17 weeks with #2. You are at the end of the first trimester, and a lot of the tough growth is done so your hormones are settling down (also why morning sickness often improves at the 12-week point). Enjoy this period--you will feel very, very pregnant soon enough, and will be missing this little respite! This is also why people say to travel, go out to dinner, etc. in the second trimester--by the third, you will be dealing with sore muscles, ligament pain, heartburn, etc., etc., etc.

Unless you see bleeding or have pain, don't stress and know that you are completely normal--and plan a night out with your partner or a lunch date with friends to take advantage of this special time!

Please do not go to the ER. You are fine -- it is totally normal for symptoms to go away once your placenta takes over at the end of the first trimester.

Plus, the ER cannot do anything at 12 weeks, anyway. Take a deep breath, let go of the illusion of control, and know that this is normal and healthy.

You are probably fine. But if you are really freaking out, see if your doctor will see you for a quick check. But that is around when I felt more normal too. And I didn't show much till 4-5 months, even with twins!

Step away from the internet. Same thing happened to me and I'm now 37 weeks.

You shouldn't do anything except take a deep breath. Chances are high things are fine. You need to learn to manage stress better.

+1 - that's when a lot of the first-tri grossness eases up. Don't worry, it won't last long.

Call your doctor. My doctor said its normal for symptoms to go away around week 12. I woke up at 11 weeks 4 days and felt great. Call yp ur dr if you are really concerned.

Do nothing. Odds are you're fine. Symptoms often disappear around the end of first trimester and many women feel flat out great. If you see bleeding, call doctor. Good luck!

All my symptoms disappeared so suddenly at 12 weeks pregnant. My stomach has even went down a little bit, no sore boobs, I am not hungry like I used to be, not sleepy, not tired anymore, not using the bathroom in the middle of the night anymore, etc. I do not have another doctors appointment until 3 weeks. What should I do? I am truly worried but not sure if it is worth a visit to the ER, and even so, what do I tell them?
