If the genders were reversed, I would still be incredibly suspicious of a story about sweet innocent Belle and the evil, horrible Beast.

And I would give the same advice: If you've been assaulted, call the police. It's sound advice for any gender.


Are you out of your mind? The police will get BOTH sides of the story and say, "Hey, you were flirting with another woman. Sounds like you deserve what you got." Really PP?????!!!!

If I could get her involuntarily committed - at least for initial observation/evaluation - that would be good. I cannot go on like this.


I am sorry this happened to you and I echo the others' advice to get a protective order. I would also urge you to get her on a 72 hour hold - she is a threat to others which should be enough cause for a judge to issue the order. I was able to get my sister put on a 72 hour hold because I was a family member and gave evidence in a private mental health hearing that she was a threat to herself. This was in Maryland - from my personal experience it was a lot easier than many people say or imagine it to be. Good luck.

I agree with calling the domestic violence hotline posted above. What are you looking to get out of filing for a protective order? Are you thinking of divorcing? Are you hoping the the TRO would push her to get treatment? I would also look into a local attorney, and a counselor. Abuse will do a number on you, and having some professionals in your corner to help you navigate this will be invaluable.

Op just ignore the anti-male posters. There are many on this board. Just ignore them and call one of the male friendly services. Men are victims of domestic violence and regardless of what women on here will tell you - you don't deserve it and you shouldn't tolerate it.

It's NEVER okay to hit or bite your spouse.

Op, call the domestic violence hotline. Find your way out of this relationship. Get into therapy for yourself to understand why you are sticking around for this. It is not okay.

I agree. I'm female, but I think questioning the DH's story as possibly not the whole story, is classless and victim blaming.

I want a divorce from my DW. Long story short, she is a liar and a cheat. I have decided that the cheating is not my children's business, but the evil bitch is turning my children against me. She tells them that Daddy wants a divorce from Mommy because he doesn't love them, and the kids - middle schoolers - are buying into it. I just want to scream. I cannot believe a mother could be so evil and that she could so easily turn children on their Dad. I am so tired of being nothing more than a wallet for them. I can see why so many men, when faced with women like my conniving evil wife, just want to walk! It is not worth the loss of your physical and emotional health.
