This a really nice and huge playground in bel air, md, about 5 miles off 95. Also close to typical suburban shopping and food, if you need that.

Yes, I could do that, but I don't want each of us to drive 1.5 hours to find a rundown playground with broken equipment or equipment meant for older kids or nowhere to park or whatever. I wanted to get suggestions/recommendations. We could just hang out at the newly renovated Maryland House for a couple hours.

A friend from the west coast is in Philadelphia this week and staying over the weekend. We are trying to meet up on Saturday for part of the day (naptime is an issue so probably either morning & lunch or late afternoon & dinner). It doesn't need to be an attraction (e.g., the aquarium). She has offered to come here and "see our world" but I think driving all the way here and back in a day would be too much for her. I was thinking the Montgomery County Fair but it turns out that would be just as much of a drive for her as if she drove all the way to DC. Maybe Towson University and let the kids run around the campus? Does anyone have suggestions? Even just a playground somewhere would work. Thanks!
