100% yes.

I just asked DH, and he said "hell yes! We'd drink wine every day and travel whenever we want".

No but this is not necessarily an indictment of my husband. It's just that I personally don't see the point of being married without kids. If I'm not having a family with someone, I wouldn't tie myself down at all.

Yes of course. I didn't marry to have someone to give me children then throw him away. I didn't marry to get his money then throw him away. I married the man I wanted to spend my life with - rich or poor, children or no children.

We have kept our marriage the priority relationship in the family over the years as a strong marriage makes for a strong family. We put time, energy and effort into it and the kids know how much value our marriage. We are not a kids come first family and that has served our marriage well.

DW here. No I would have divorced, but NOW I am happy that I stayed. Yes sex is a huge thing for me, but I now just live without it and day dream non-stop.

Yes! Four of ours are grown and out of the house. One teen still at home, but will graduate and be off to college in a couple of years. We have loved our 24 years of parenting, but we are really looking forward to it being just the two of us again. Our kids are important, but our marriage has always come first. Children are awesome, but we only have them at home for a few short years. Marriage is for life.

No. Kids did make our marriage more difficult, but ultimately I believe we would have divorced anyway. We changed as people during our marriage and our goals and the way we wanted our lives to be, became different

Contemplating a LTR and possibly marriage, but parenting is not for me. So I just need honest answers from both DHs and DWs. With all the complexities that come with parenting and marriage (loss of libido, no time for sex, finances, etc) do you think you would remain madly in love with, and sexually drawn to that s/o of yours forever had kids not been in the mix?
