I hate that goddamn toenail fungus ad. I don't even have this but have looked at nail polish reviews. I have to refresh the page every time because it's so gross.

The ads don't bother me. Plus, logging in to a pay service would just be one more credit card to file and keep updated when it expires. Then I'd forget my password, and that would be time wasted resetting it.

Might keep out the riffraff though....

How about DCUM Gold, Silver, and Bronze status?

When you post it could say "Anonymous is a DCUM Gold Member" etc?

Exactly, 17:14 -- the ads are personalized to what Google knows about you. Mine are currently all for Office Depot and Allstate, which tells me Google thinks I am seriously boring, and probably not 17 anymore.

I'm surprised the ads bother people so much. They seem to be targeted to a posters specific interests--based on the ads *I* see, they tend to be ads for products/things I have recently done searches for or looked at websites for. Maybe an ad will actually work out well for you in that it will introduce you to a product/service you've been looking for.

The one that got to me is the one with a hand and some sort of puss filled pocket on it. It was worse than the cockroaches!

You don't need an app. It's really easy to read on mobile devices.

Why not just invest in an ad-blocker?

Hate apps. Just make mobile friendly. Responsive design, please! And a subscription model makes no business sense. Jeff would be out of business.

I don't even notice the ads much. My eyes just hone in on the blue box and forum listings.

I wouldn't pay to use this site. There are other parenting sites that are free, although this is definitely unique to the DMV, but still.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Seriously, I would be happy to pay a fee to subscribe to DCUM to get rid of the ADS!!! Is this possible? This could be a money maker for you?!!!! I would DEFINITELY subscribe for a nominal fee.

2. You should also consider an APP! A paid for one, of course! I would buy a subscription.

I can be, have been and will continue to be *itchy when the occasion warrants. But I must tell you I am trying to be kinder. The world is going crazy and I think people need to be nicer here too. I will do better myself!!
