I'm the PP - my K daughter was #2 on the Bethune wait list after Round 1. I realize that sounded a little confusing after my first post...

It's my understanding the wait list came from Round 2. My PS-3 daughter got in Round 1 but my K daughter was waitlisted at #2 (I kept calling and calling until they told me to bring her paper work in so I don't think the K list moved much over the summer.)

I downloaded the DCPCSB spreadsheet after round 1, and it shows that all PK3 spots were filled at Bethune in round 1 but that there was not a wait list. So, the list should only move w/round 2 people if people declined after round 1 (which I would expect a few would). It says there were 88 people wait listed total in all the other grades.

Weird, right after the lottery they seemed to be working hard to get people to sign up. Guess it worked!

According to the chapter board stats no wl for pk3. Yes wl for pk4 k and 1st

where is this information? i've looked on dcps and myschools and must be missing something

I was in the top 10 on the waitlist after Round 2 and still haven't received a call.

I was surprised to read that so many people were waitlisted for this because I think I saw that it had no waitlist following round 1. Did I misread something or did the waitlist come from Round 2? Thanks!
