It does seem to be more about Reese Witherspoon than the refugees. Erin Brokovitch was more about her character than the town people with cancer (or whatever it was).

It's based on a true story about someone who helped war refugees. Have you read What is the What by Dave Eggars? It's horrific. It's pretty rare that a book provokes a visceral reaction from me, and that book made me sob. Anyone who was willing to help those kids, of any color, is to be commended in my opinion.
