I'd keep looking. Neither agent will represent you well but for different reasons.

Who is the top producer in the subject's neighborhood? If that's too small of a pool, then who in the town?

Do you want aggressive, pushy and responsive dealing with a very big asset or NICE?

I am assuming it is a second home since you said "small place out of town" therefore this is not your primary residence.

Either way whether a second home or a primary residence I would go with #1 and hopefully he/she isn't so aggressive and pushy as to alienate other agents/clients/prospects (and hopefully has some "nice" thrown in with all of those other attributes you seem to be turned off by) but you definitely don't want a wet noodle which is what #2 sounds like to me.

Yes, I am an agent.

#1 - surprised you have to ask. hands down, this agent will know how to negotiate on your behalf.

I got stuck with #2, it was a huge mistake.

We are selling a small place out of town. We've met with a number of agents. The two top options are 1) very aggressive and pushy but most responsive and 2) very understanding and easy to speak with but slow to send information I've requested. Others were worse and we may need to choose from these two. Which would you choose and why.
