I would actually recommend against Matchbox. They want to be kid-friendly, I think, but they don't quite know how -- the menu options aren't great for kids, the high chairs aren't the right height for the booths, etc.

Oh -- Tortilla Coast might be another good option.

We love Mr. Henrys for brunch, but I hesitate to recommend it when I don't know your tastes -- it's kinda the brunch equivalent of a dive bar? But there are frequently kids there (along with a mix of ladies in church hats and men in leather vests).
