I went to Potbelly today for lunch because of this thread, which I read yesterday. I usually have a salad for lunch. Thanks, DCUM. (PS, their cookie was really, really good.....and still warm!).

This is OP - these ones are in the oven! If the dough is any indication, they're gonna be good! Thanks everyone

You can add 3 cups of oatmeal to the toll house recipe and it's pretty good--makes a lot of cookies though.

This one has peanut butter, too, and I think it may be my favorite cookie ever in the history of cookies.

You're welcome.

(PS, I use her shaping method mentioned, too, and they make for some very pretty cookies to boot.)

I want some right now.

Normally am a brownie kind of girl but just got hit with a HUGE craving. I don't normally make oatmeal choc chip cookies so I don't have any good recipes on hand. I like my cookies fairly dense, soft and chewy, and would prefer that the actual cookie is not very sweet (so I can load up on chocolate chips )

Does anyone have a good recipe? TIA!
