Jackie, the NP at RHJN, is lovely. She's really warm and friendly and understanding in general, so that might be one option.

PP here. We use Dr. Stany and like her a lot. But appointments can take a long time. If there is something urgent, however, one can usually see another doctor pretty quickly or the NP even more quickly.

I believe Georgetown's adolescent clinic offers gynecological services--likely through an NP.
I'd avoid a gyn with a very busy OB practice. Appointments can take a very long time to get. My DD is at one of these for hormonal issues and getting an appointment can be very frustrating.

No specific recommendations for you, OP, but see if you can find a nurse practitioner. I always felt more comfortable with them as a teen and had great experiences with NPs.
