Well considering that entire thread starting with the first response discussed the various ideas of what Christian Grey looks like or doesn't look like in their minds, I'd say that thread had everything to do with this topic.
But whatever, some people just like to start new threads with "OMG" I guess.

People have to remember that it is not only about finding the right person, but the right person, who is available and who wants to do it. Many actors do not want to be in the type of movie for fear of how it may impact their reputation.

As soon as I saw the first trailer for Divergent I told a friend he was almost exactly how I pictured Christian.
Casting may not have missed it. He may not have been available for filming because of the Divergent trilogy
