It's a pretty sad song in my opinion. Loneliness and trying to find someone but he just keeps ending up with one night stands hoping they will fill that void in his life and then in the morning he realizes they will just leave and that void that was filled last night is now empty again. Kind of depressing.

I think it's more about staying with someone you aren't in love with, but aren't ready to give up.

A love song about a one night stand? Wtf? I mean I like the tune and his voice, but the lyrics are just unreal.
