That's what I'm wondering.

Because they don't live here. We have an infant and I'm not comfortable leaving 66 year olds with an infant for hours while I'm far away if anything happens. Just not a good situation for us. If they lived here it would be different. We are downtown so on a good day Frederick is an hour. And baby is definitely not brunch at volt material.

But that's good it still seems popular. I will try to sell it again or regift it at Christmas

Take your kid to brunch there. We've done it a couple times now. Brunch is relatively casual there and there have been other kids too. We try to get in for the first reservation for brunch so we get done well before nap time for our younger one. Our kids are now 5 and 2 1/2 We just order them a full three course meal and they split it, or actually we all split our meals. And then finish off with the bacon glazed donuts.

Or as previous posters have noted, have your parents babysit. We take advantage of parental babysitting to go to Sushi Taro's chef's counter. Otherwise, our kids accompany us there as well for regular seating.

Did you try posting it for sale in the For Sale section of DCUM? This would seem to by your target audience and sounds like you might even have some takers already.

Op again - I even tried to give it to my parents for when they visit here and they don't want to schlep that far!

Op here: See I've been to family meal and it very good but definitely not worth an hour plus drive. And volt would be that same drive plus the cost for a baby sitter that we just don't have. I can't have a family member so it since we don't have family here. Which is interesting because family have us the card!

I even tried to use it at Range but I couldn't!

It's for 300 and I posted to sell for 250.

If it would be a good gift for someone, I can regift it but I have a feeling who I would give it to would prefer cash!

It's an amazing restaurant. Use the gift card.

How much is the gift certificate... how much are you asking.

I just went to Family Meal this week and it was delicious.

It's delicious. But I probably wouldn't buy a giftcard from someone on a listserv. Either use it, or gift it to someone else (maybe for someone's baby shower gift so they can go there kid free). Or get a sitter, which is what I would do. Maybe a family member so you can spend the night in Fredrick.

Of course people still go there. Can't you find a sitter?

So, we received a VOLT gift card as a wedding gift. Not sure why we did, but we did. 3+ years later, we still have it and now will basically never go because we have a kid.
I've tried selling it on various list serves but have no bites. It's an expensive card, but I offered a discount on it (not huge, but enough!)

Is this place not popular anymore? If I re-gift it, will it go unused because people don't go there anymore?
