I've been with my boyfriend for 22 years. He does make me feel like he desires me, both directly and indirectly. I overheard a friend of his ask if he's ever cheated and he responded "If you lived with her, trust me, you'd never want to cheat." We have a ton of framed pictures on the piano, which he plays and I don't. One of our daughters asked why her picture was behind mine and he told her it's because he wants to look at me when he's playing.

Sometimes when he's leaving he'll kiss me goodbye, but then come back for a second kiss. He brings home flowers every once in a while for no reason.

Basically, I know he desires me because he's still trying. That's the bottom line.

Do you make you DHs feel desirable?

+1. I change in the walk in closet for the same reason. 13 years together, married for 10. 2 kids I breastfed foreeeeever.

Yes, even though I KNOW I'm belly-wrinkled and flat-chested, after 10 years, 2 kids, and an eternity of breastfeeding.

Does your husband know what makes you feel like he desires you?

For example, the PP whose husband is constantly groping her and talking dirty, but she wants him to say she's gorgeous. He may think he's doing something that makes her feel good and tells her how much he desires her. She wants something else.

Most men are happy with direction. If you let him know what makes you feel good/desired/etc., odds are he will do it (unless there are other issues in the relationship).

Same here. He used to compliment me constantly but now it's just occasionally, maybe once a week. However, he is constantly grabbing me, groping me, talking dirty. I've gained quite a bit of weight since we got married so it's nice to still be desired, though I do miss those constant "you are so gorgeous" remarks.

Married 15 years and DH is like a teenager when the kids are not home.

Married 9 years, together for 14 years. Yes, he does and tells me often! Sex 3-4 times a week

My husband never compliments me or seems to notice me.
