I love my mom. She's got a great career where she works for herself (healthcare) but never really applied herself to making much money- more just what she loves to do. She's 60, but I can see her working for several more years. Anyway, she's gotten pretty heavy in a multilevel marketing gig. I don't want to touch it with a 10 foot pole, but she thinks this is her financial future. I want to help however I can. I know most people don't make money in these things, but some do...would you host parties and annoy your friends and acquaintances with this shit? I hate it, but my mom is always there for me; I want to do the same. Or would you work on getting her to focus back on her legitimate career? Either way I'm on the hook for my parents financial care as they age. I don't think they've got much other than their house...
