Total Wine in Laurel (and I assume the other locations) has plenty, and you can buy just one 12-oz. bottle, so you can make your own 6 pack. Easy way to find something you like.

I like Crispin.

I got hooked on hard cider (also known as "idiot juice") while studying for a couple of years in the UK, and I agree that a lot of the bottled ciders over here are too sweet for my taste. I love Strongbow, which OP mentioned, as well as Crispin (especially the one in the green can), and sometimes you can find Blackthorne. I'll also happily sample anything on draft. I don't care as much for Woodchuck, Angry Orchard (though I haven't tried the ginger - I will now!), or JK's, but that's just me. YMMV.

Crispin isn't bad. All of the lines from Albemarle Cider Words are amazing. Available at Ace Beverage and other places.

Lots of good stuff up in NY state. Bellwether, Eves, etc.

Jack's. Less sweet version is in the green can. Red can is a little sweeter, but not especially sweet.

I had an angry orchard tonight and it was pretty good (I'd say a little sweet but not too much), but it was my first cider in a while so I can't really judge how the sweetness compares to your favorites or other ciders.

What's your favorite kind?
I prefer the drier, less sweet ciders like magners and strongbow; I like to try others but hate buying a 6 pack and not liking it after 1 drink. Most are too sweet for my liking. So please recommend your dry cider brands. Or ones that are too sweet to stay away from. Thanks!
