FIG should be your dinner choice, absolutely.

Is FIG open for lunch? I'm not sure it is. I'd go with High Cotton for lunch and FIG for dinner. Then get chocolate pralines at the market for dessert.

Magnolia's is better than SNOB which is better than High Cotton. Husk is overrated but I still like it, especially for lunch, and it's better than Poogan's Porch next door. All are good!

Magnolias. Pearlz has an awesome happy hour if you happen to be there at that time (4-7). $10 for a dozen oysters.

Yes, but still a great spot. How about SNOB or High Cotton?

SNOB is part of a group of places, not sure what ones are part fo the group but it is a lot like clyde's here. There is a great place next door to husk, can't recall the name but was much better.

Fleets Landing is a perfect spot for lunch. You can eat on the dock over the water. Their fish tacos are really good.

My friends love Husk. I've been there and it's different, but you may like it. I remember the popcorn ice cream. The restaurant is lovely.

I will be in Charleston for the day meeting a friend. I've never been there and neither has she. We are taking a carriage tour while we are there. Can anyone recommend a restaurant within walking distance of the carriage tour meeting spot (Guignard Street)? Nothing fancy or expensive but something where we can get some Southern food. Thanks!
