They don't have to talk much to each other right? If they can just be cordial at the dinner table, there's no need for them to engage outside of that. Ask them not to cause drama and let them avoid each other.

My mother can't stand my husband and has been horrible to him. We don't visit her anymore, and try to see her in mixed company, when she's on her best behavior.

My husband and brother can't stand each other. I stressed about it for years and then I decided that their childish behavior is on them. Let it go.

There are lots of posters on here who don't get along with their SIL, BIL, MIL, FIL etc.

Ask your DH to be civil and ask your sister to be civil. Or perhaps NEITHER you and DH nor your sister should be invited.

I really don't know what to do since my husband and younger sister never get along well. They always fight during family reunions and start ignoring each other which makes it awkward for the whole family.
