No, he definitely wants a child and is commited to me. He just doesn't like sex that much. He was married before and they rarely had sex according to him.

My doc said that unless your husband has a known deficiency, through a semen analysis, every day is good. we usually did it 6 days in a row around O - which was totally exhausting and not always fun, I admit. took us 9 months.

Oh he did. Is on medication. Apparently his sperm is healthy. Apparently something is wrong with him but I'm not sure what. He might just not like sex

We did every day. I had a friend who had a crazy small window of fertility and her "environment" wasn't very hospitable. Made sense to me and worked like a charm for us.

Every other day worked well for me & DH, pregnant on month 1 of trying for DC1&2. Didn't try every day, but I think that would have just been too much for me.

My husband's problem isn't sperm quality but the volume of semen he produces. If he ejaculates every day or twice a day there's so little it dribbles out. Otherwise it's fine but it kind of worries me.

This. We knew that my husband had really good counts because we were working with an RE. So we were even told to have sex morning and night on the day before ovulation.

My understanding is that if you know that his sperm quality is good, then every day is fine and maybe better. But if the quality isn't great, then every other day is better. And since most people dont know the quality, every other day is may be a better guide for them.
