It seems the only money available is need based grants/scholarships for those making less than $60,000. I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseam but what schools or programs, if any, offer money without taking out debt-choking loans?

I know that government loans are better than private loans for financing education but the government sticks you with an origination fee so I've been told. Does anyone know if that fee can be written off on taxes?
