I'm a current parent and SPT member. Here's the link. It's a private group, so you can request membership and the admin will approve you. I'm not sure if she'll do it during the summer or wait until the fall to make sure the kids actually attend. Either way, it's worth a shot.
Welcome to the school!

Great idea - thank you! School playdates sound great, I'm glad there's such a community. I'm still particularly thankful to hear of a PK3 playdate. Not everyone's DC is used to being away from mommy/home for a long day.

SPT is planning on a playdate in August, and you can keep track of it by following Bridges on Facebook or by joining the Bridges parent listserv on Yahoo (the info on it was posted on FB a few weeks ago).

SPT is the Bridges "school parent team" (i.e., PTA or parent organization).

I've heard that the SPT is planning a play date for incoming families some time in early August. I don't know the details, but I've been told that everyone will be invited. But I also joined this group in case we can't make it to the "official" Bridges play date. Look forward to meeting everyone!

Hi - trying to make a Google group so we can all be in touch and have a few playground playdates before the start of the school year!

https://groups.google.com/d/forum/bridges-charter-school-pk3-2014-2015

Should work this way: open the page, click join this group. If it's a bust, be kind! I'll try to fix it, or I'm happy to hand it over...

Thanks!
