NP here. Does the waterpik help with stains on teeth? I have tea stains between my teeth that are hard to reach. Thanks!

Thanks-- which one do you recommend? I can't tell a difference between all of the models. I'd like to get the one that also has the electric toothbrush.

I suffer from chronic gum issues. One medical professional strongly recommended the water pik and I used it for a couple years. My current periodontist says it's fine, but you can get the same benefits from flossing more frequently. She also cautioned--if you do use a waterpik be sure to use it horizontally, rather than aiming the stream of water into up (or down) into the gums. You can force small bits of seeds, crumbs, etc in there, and they can get lodged and cause infections or other problems.

Yes, I bought one on Amazon that attaches to the faucet. I haven't had a cavity since.

Another yes! DH has had chronic gum issues, even had to undergo gum surgery at one time. He uses the waterpik religiously and no more problems.

Thinking about buying a waterpik-- what do you think? I am leaning towards the model that comes with the sonic toothbrush.

Thanks!
