Yuck. I would worry that there is something wrong with the floor under the carpeting.

WTF? Is this place a flip? Looks like they got a good deal on the same ugly carpet and put it EVERYWHERE. Who the hell puts carpet in the kitchen and bathroom? Cheap linoleum is a better option.

Wow, they sure believe in angling the furniture, don't they?! And holy additions, Batman.

"Unethical"? Really?

Yes, unethical.

It may not break Arlington law; it may not even break Virginia law: but it breaks God's law, and, more important, it violates Murphy's Law.

What the heck is their agent thinking? And look at all the plastic on top of all the carpets. Looks like new carpet too - of you're prepping to sell you tell them to put down tile, wood, or laminate.

I don't know if it's a fire hazard. But it doesn't strike me as particularly sanitary.

In the early 1970s my parents bought a house with carpet in the kitchen. Fire was never an issue but water(liquid) was! I have vivid memories of that disgusting carpeting before they remodeled the kitchen. Excuse me while I go throw up.

Carpet in the kitchen is only illegal in the practically sense. I would pass on this house one this one factor.

Is carpeting in kitchen legal? Seems like a fire hazard. http://www.redfin.com/VA/Arlington/2600-1st-Rd-S-22204/home/11262043
