Mesa Verde - Indian cliff dwellings and painting. This is not a recent Native Americans from 300 years ago. These are the groups that were around 1200 AD. Anasazi Pueblo Indians. It is fascinating.

It's still snowing in Colorado in April. Hope you're not planning on wading or hiking! Kids won't be able to ski yet. I'd re-think this if I were you.

I don't know if this would be fun with such young kids but we flirted earlier this year with going to Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge in Grand Junction (it's a huge hot springs pool). My dh went as a kid and loved it.

It would be 6 adults and 2 children (aged 1 and 2.5 at that point) - in April of next year. Where should we go? I want outside activities available without a ton of driving due to the young ages of the kids. I also want a lot locally (hiking/wading/swimming/etc).
