Sad to report that Frosting is no longer a cupcake place. It has a new owner and has becomes general bakery/coffee place. So sad to lose our neighborhood cupcake place.

Baked n wired are the best.

Baked and Wired in Georgetown is BETTER than G'town cupcakes, IMO.

LOL. GT Cupcakes are my fave also and I have not found ones that I like better. But I live close to Sweet Lobby and think their cupcakes are so dry and not good. Sad because they look pretty!

My son's birthday is next month, and we're in the planning phase now. I'd like to use a small, local cupcake shop because I am big on buying local. Georgetown Cupcake is good, but I'm interesting supporting the smaller guys... any recommendations? I'm not looking for grocery store cupcakes, BTW and I want something that both kids AND parents will enjoy.
