Every 5 years on our anniversary we head to Mexico for a week to celebrate. While we have enjoyed most of the places we have stayed we are looking for something new this year.

We are not big party people but do enjoy having a few drinks poolside during the day. Also not fans of the huge resorts. We would also like a nice swimable beach, nice pool deck for lounging, top notch food and drink (including wine, which I know can be difficult).

We are looking at going the 1st week of November.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's suggestions.

Please keep your "Mexico is dangerous" comments to yourself. We have been numerous times and are comfortable going there.
