You might be able to find a LMB tutor for cheaper. We did LMB one summer and yes, very expensive but we did see results.

You could also try McLean School (in MD) camps.

My daughter will be entering third grade. She reads about on a first-grade level. We're getting tutoring over the summer, but our tutor thinks she needs reading 5x a week. Of course I've already enrolled her in regular camp (and paid for camp) through the end of July, but then--is there a camp that would take her, perhaps week by week, for August? Like the LAB School in DC, which I did not know had a summer camp?
There are some "get ready for school" camps but I'm not sure they work with kids who have IEPs.
Any suggestions welcome. Thank you.
