Round up is safe and will work long term. Take your BS elsewhere.

No, no it's not. If there are alternatives, use them.

For a longer lasting solution, you could power wash your patio. Blast everything out from between the pavers and then re-fill with new paver sand. Kill weeds as they pop up after that, but you won't have as many.

Boil water and down it on the patio. The weeds will be dead with an hour.

Thanks. You're right, this is a great job for my 4yo. Should I spray the weeds, wait a day or two, then pull them out?

Spritz with vinegar.

Great job for kids.

For a regular size vinegar bottle I just do vinegar and a pump or 2 of soap, helps it stick. I also have 1 "recipe" that says add 1/3 cup of salt but I don't think that is good for a walkway.

I dump hot water on mine. Anytime I boil a pot of water or make tea, I use the extra on the patio. Kills the weeds. They come back, but weeds always do.

I am new to homeownership. I have a back patio that is brick with lots of weeds growing between the bricks. In the Spring I pulled up all the weeds including the roots. They're all back. I googled and found that I can spray white vinegar in the cracks to kill the grass. I have the vinegar and the spray bottle and am wondering how to proceed. What is the proportion of vinegar to water? DH's google search included another ingredient. Do we need another ingredient or can we proceed with just vinegar? Do I weed again and then spray or spray the weeds? Thanks for your help!
