18 month old lap baby to London, but we had business class seats. You could do it in economy, but it wouldn't be fun.

Did it at 4 months (fairly easy) in bulkhead with bassinet. Again at 16 months (not fun even in bulkhead). The flight over was easier than the return.

Yes with 20 month old. Lucked out on flight home with our own row. Having the row for the flight home was really nice but we could have totally managed without (although im sure the flight would have felt twice as long). Easy on the way there being overnight.

Yes--we did it with a 10 month old. I agree with PP--anything much later is unwise. It was ok, but was worth it once we got there. The bulkhead seat is a mixed bag as my LO preferred to sleep while being held and you are next to the drink/food storage area where people annoyingly tend to congregate and talk loudly in the middle of a red eye flight. Just know that you won't sleep much, if at all, but you'll be fine.

Sort of. We had our 20 month old with us. We got a bulkhead seat so we had lots of leg room. DD spent a lot of time on the floor watching Old School Sesame Street on our then DVD player.

Bulkhead. See what you can do for extra leg room.

Same thing when we went again with DD #2. She was just a wee, wee thing, so we went bulkead and the airline supplied us with one of those baby seats that strapped onto a table in front of us... Had to take her out during turbulence, which sucked, because it woke her up. (But safety first. )

Yes, it was OK, but not a huge amount of fun. How old is baby? Under 9 months is easier, worst time is 1-2.5 yrs old.

I may not be able to get to Paris for awhile since I am pregnant again. I was thinking about heading to Paris for a quick getaway, but will baby really make it on the overnight flight. It is short...
