I think Baltic Brown would match nicely but may look dated in fairly short order. If I were you, I'd skip the granite and do quartz instead.

Baltic Brown would look good and it is about as bullet proof as you can get.

I would do something light. I think quartz would look more up-to-date, but if you are set on granite, I would do a very light cream with some brown flecks.

I hate black granite and it seems to be everywhere.

Before you order your cabinets, you may want to figure out the entire plan for your kitchen design. You may not find a combination with honey cabinets that you like, or you may find a combination with a different cabinet color that you like better.

I agree with the PP who recommended getting a sample of the cabinet color to take granite shopping. If possible, I would get granite samples too and see what the combination looks like in your home lighting.

See if you can get a sample door to take with you when you go granite shopping. I would do a lighter granite with gold in it.

just don't do what we did. dh fell in LOVE with our granite. but it looks stupid with our honey color cabinets. granite is creamy color with lots of blackish, grey, and soft golden color veins, splatters, etc. would look great with black or cream cabs. looks hideous with ours. but i was wanting dh to feel involved/listened to, etc. my mistake!!!

Black granite but get black trim on your honey shaker cabinets...granted I am not an interior decorator so I don't know all the terminology...but I've seen the two go well together...

We used to have cabinets this color with Uba Tuba granite and it looked good together. I have to say it also started looking kind of dated. I don't like the idea of brown on brown either and think that contrast is important. How about a nice dark grey granite if you don't want soapstone? The two natural looking neutrals would look good together and might hold up well (design wise) over time.

I would look for as many pictures of similar cabinets as you can to get visuals on what works and what doesn't. I think baltic brown would be very monochrome brown. Def not what I would choose, but I'm a fan of white kitchens. I think there needs to be some element of contrast in kitchen designs.

Baltic brown is one of my least favs.

We will be getting Wolf Cabinets in Honey, shaker style. What color granite would you recommend or do you have with this color cabinet. Do you think Baltic Brown would work?
