VERY disappointing.He didn't even win despite trying to misrepresent himself, so....he didn't have a shot at it regardless.

What the hell was Doug Gansler thinking? He must have known that he was unlikely to win this race. He could have positioned himself as a well vetted candidate in the future. But now? How can he say the apple handout was not an attempt to give the impression that he had the union's endorsement? Good grief, this is how I imagine elections are run in Chicago.
