Rugs, pillows, curtains can be very cute and cheap. I also love their bookcases because you can find them very narrow there or very big. Great assortment. I buy Hermes for more traditional and then the more basic one (can't remember the line name) for the basement.

They are always good for weird storage pieces. I wanted a cart that was low enough I could set my kids dollhouse on, that had storage underneath (for extra doll furniture) and the rolled so they could bring it out into a better spot when they wanted to play. Couldn't find it anywhere. Ikeas.

Also - buy box springs for the kids beds there as they are relatively healthy though not full on organic.

Planters, household textiles (my sheets have lasted forever), kids toys and craft materials, toilet brush (super cheap!), nail brushes made of plastic (wooden ones fall apart quickly), toddler pillows and covers.

Things we currently own: Billy bookcase, Sundvik crib, large ottoman to double as a kid friendly coffee table, set of 24 wine glasses we've had for at least 8 years, great for parties. Also have some small juice glasses, simple vases, wooden trivets, duvet set... Used to own a few of their rugs which are decent for the price. Oh and if you have pets, they sell large plastic trays for $2 that are perfect for putting under the food and water bowls.

I actually really like their sheets, pillowcases, and mattress covers. The sheets are the kind that never seem too warm or too cold, their pillowcases have the extra flap to stay on the pillow, and the mattress covers are rubber on the bottom but soft on the top and don't make noise.

I have a lot of their furniture. I like the ideas of their space saving furniture, but wish it was made higher quality. I would be willing to pay a lot more for it if it was better made. It seems like you can't move it from one house the next. I would go online and look through their catalog.

If they still sell the gallon size glass jars (for flour and sugar), grab some! For some reason, they are the only brand that has a rubber seal around the lid to keep out bugs and secure the top.

(And if you do go and they do have them and if you remember, would you mind posting back to let me know to save me a wasted trip? I broke one and need to replace it but don't want to drive there for that one thing just to find out they don't have it. TIA if you remember!)

Their kitchen-wares are great, IMO. Super hardy.

IKEA always sounds like a great place to get stuff, but I'm rarely successful. I may pick up cheap kitchen gadgets or plants. (Actually their plants are great!)

What do you have from there and recommend? I need to schedule a run there and hate that place but need tons of stuff and would love recomeendation for everything from furniture to sheets. I especially need arm chairs etc
