Last time I was at Unique, the maternity section was at the front end of the women's clothes, nearest the registers. But they move things around sometimes. If you can't find it, ask someone. They definitely have a separate section for maternity.

Goodwill on Little River and Columbia Pike (by Juke Box Diner) has a pretty good maternity section. Tues is their customer appreciation day, I think it is 20% off. Also check the dresses section. Most maternity dresses end up mixed in with the regular sizes.

The Salvation Army on Little River has an ok selection but finding stuff is hard because they organize based on color and type. Check the books here too, lots of great kids books cheap. Their customer appreciation day is Wed (25% off everything).

I loved 529 while I was pregnant. If you "like" their Facebook page, or I guess just visit it regularly, they post pictures of new stuff that has come in, so if you see something you like you can inquire about the size and ask them to hold it for you for a day or so . . .

Try Salvation Army on Little River turnpike, kinda close to I-95. I dont remember if they have maternity clothes per se but they do have a lot of clothes. Lots of baby clothes too

Try the Goodwill on S Glebe in Arlington. There's no Maternity section, so you have to do some searching, but I found some great things.

529 consignment in Old Town is even better, but I don't remember if it has a maternity section.

Ugh I hate Unique. I never thought a thrift shop would seem too sketch for my comfort level, but it is.

I've actually found a lot at Unique. Are you not finding the maternity section, or just nothing you like within it?

I have heard that their maternity section isn't great, but that their baby gear section is... however, I've never been myself. If you don't live in the neighborhood maybe check out some online reviews first, or call them and ask about the current maternity section.

Does anyone know of any thrift stores in Northern VA (Fairfax/Falls Church/Arlington preferably) with a consistent maternity selection? I work right by Unique Thrift Store and check it often but have never found a single maternity piece. TIA.
