I saw they are hiring. I didn't think they were going under, but I saw mention of Fool.uk taking a huge loss last year.

Is it for a writing position? An acquaintance of mine works there and I know she doesn't like it and I'm pretty sure that was the case from Day 1, but I'm not totally sure why. She's not a mom, though, so her priorities are likely different than yours.

It's going to depend on the position, of course. That said, I know someone who works there (full time). From what he says, it seems like a great, friendly, positive group of people. The company has tried to accommodate some of my friend's work-life needs.
