I have an older version of the nero intecciato nappa bag (2008, I think) and it is beautiful, so soft.

That link didn't work but I have a woven bottarga Venetia bag from 5-6 years ago that has held up amazingly well and I haven't had anything done to it. It is sooo soft and the color hasn't faded at all. We'll worth the investment.

I am hard on my handbags as well. I have a Gucci bag that I have used every day for a year and it still looks great. I have never owned a bg that has held up that well. However, the reason I have never owned a Bottega Veneta bag is because it did not feel very sturdy to me. The leather is lovely, but did not feel very durable.

This,is PP- I agree about the intrecciato leather being more delicate. I do find the deerskin quite durable. I love them both either way

Yes they are beautiful. I have 3 of them. The deerskin is especially wonderful, durable, and "chewy" in texture. There are always similar cheaper styles that imitate the weave of BV, but the leather is no where near the quality.

I have one and love it because it is well made and has no logos. I realize that the style of craftsmanship is its own logo, but I prefer to not have names on my bags. Paid 1350 for a small crossbody but plan on having it for yeas. Rather have less bags that I keep than more cheapies.

Beautiful leather bags. Don't own one.

They've been around forever, especially for those who don't like obvious labels.
