I'm not that poster but yes Dr Willey is a surgeon - but Dr Claudine Isaacs is a top notch onco at G-town.

But isn't she a surgeon, not an oncologist?

This is who my Aunt went to for breast cancer as well and have heard he is one of the best.

+1 to both of 14:34's comments

But I deal with the admin side because I like and trust Dr Kaltman.

Thanks. Actually my current onc (the one who is leaving) is currently at GW. You're not joking about the admin nightmare. And the front desk area feels weird, judgy and cold, to me. I've only gone to that practice since the cancer has been taken care of but I feel like if I was there and sick, it would feel oppressive.

I appreciate the recommendation and hope you are well, PP!

Dr Rebecca Kaltman at GW

Excellent and knows what she is doing. But the administrative side of MFA is a nightmare.

I was diagnosed with DCIS in my late 20s. I only see my oncologist once a year. My spouse and I are thinking of having kids and because my cancer was hormone responsive, I'd like to have an oncologist to check in with during and after the pregnancy. I just found out yesterday that my oncologist will no longer be practicing in a few months. I'm pretty devastated as I really like and trust my Dr. She has been extremely frank with me as well as kind.

If you have had a good experience with a breast cancer oncologist, first sorry you've had to deal with that and second, I'd love to know who that person is as it seems I will need a new one.

Thanks!
