I've attended many graduations and have never seen flowers. After stage performances, yes, but never after graduation. Pls don't start this.

I was thinking about that too OP. My son is graduating from 8th grade next week and I was thinking about how the girls will probably be handed flowers by their parents at the actual ceremony. I was wondering if there is something parents of boys also do, at the actual ceremony. I wasn't planning to do anything this time but was thinking ahead for HS graduation.

You mean to actually hand to them at the ceremony? Why? My kids and all of their friends got gifts at their parties, not at actual graduation
