That's ridiculous! Pick up a Monistat CVS (7-day is most effective for me, but they have 1 and 3 day treatments). Spend some time w/o undies and reduce your sugar intake.

Done and done.

Yeast infections should be properly checked out by a doctor, as they are commonly misdiagnosed

What are they commonly mistaken for?

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the big one. I used to work in public health and this was one of the things we worked to educate young women about.

+1

A lot of women mistakenly think any itchy discharge is yeast.

Google garlic and yeast infections. Bizarre. But effective.

If you've had one then you know. I get them all the time, usually they clear up on their own but Monistat knocks them out.

I suspect, but don't know, that PP can prescribe meds for a yeast infection.

Urgent care, minute clinic, insurance nurse line. Many places will give you an Rx for YI or UTI if you've had it before and know the symptoms and treatment.

Ask your GP, they might call in a prescription.

I recently started going to spin class on a regular basis and am sure I'm getting a yeast infection. The problem is that my ob requires a visit and I really don't want to go. I have decided not to return to the practice after my horrible birth experience. The new place I want to go is not booking till July and I really was hoping to be seen this week. Anything I'm not thinking of for treatment, any urgent care places that treat this?
