Well... I think it's risky for anyone but can be really striking if you can pull it off. I think being slender might be key. I have a friend who is beautiful faced but relatively broad shoulders who is your height and from the back she looks like a man.

I'm 5'10" with a pixie. I love it! If you have a tiny head in relation to your body, maybe you need to be worried, but otherwise, it should look fine. Look at photos and talk to your stylist about what you like, and get some input on what they think will flatter your face. You don't have to be petite to rock short hair!

I know a couple of lovely tall women with very short (think boy cut) hair. They both have striking facial features and are slender. They look great.

I've had the same haircut, more or less, for 20 years - a chin length on. I'm thinking about a short haircut a la Michelle Williams. But she's tiny and I'm almost 6 feet tall. Thoughts on shot hair o. Talk women? What's the secret for making it work? Not sure what I'm afraid of... That I'll look manly or like a pinhead I guess.
