There are plenty of boyfriend style jeans without holes or rips, just plain medium or light blue denim.
I have one pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, I use them for the sole purpose of throwing them over pajamas when I take my kids to school in the winter. I like that they are large enough to accommodate leggings. Pure heaven.

And why spend extra money for something the looks like you walked 10 miles on your hands and knees. I thought this look was silly 25 years ago and it's silly now

I love the cut of the boyfriend jeans, but I'm not sure I can get away with the destroyed denim look with all the holes. I'm in good shape and in my late 30s. Would that be weird?
