Well, let's face it, the only thing that was good about the OC was the bro-mance between Seth and Ryan.
Southland is a great show. He's matured a lot as an actor.

Op here. I love a good origin story. Most of all, I am encouraged that Fox ordered the entire series rather than just the pilot. I get frustrated when I get 4 or 5 episodes into a new show and then it is canceled.

I think Ben McKenzie is a good choice to play a young Gordon. It's definitely one of the shows I'm looking forward to.
