OP here. Right now my protocol is going to be BCP overlapped with Lupron. Without BCP, how should the protocol be? Take only Lurpon?

Yes, I'd watch out for this. As I'm AMA, my doctors avoided BCPs but friends of the same age were put on them by doctors who weren't conscientious (in my opinion). I waited until a certain number of days after ovulation to start suppression without the BCPs. I have other friends at different clinics, including Shady Grove, who were given a similar BCP-free protocol.

My nurse at SIRM NYC told me that I need to be on bcp for at least 7 days

OP here. They recommend at least 12 days of BCP. Well, if my period doesn't start on time, I will waste 1.5 months once again. Can I take fewer than 12 BCPs like 9 or 10? Will it matter?? Please let me know!!

Really? I inquired at both Las Vegas and New Jersey and they both told me they have cycle dates. Are there multiple doctors at NY clinic?

SIRM NYC does not have fixed cycle dates

I am cycling at SIRM and they have fixed cycling dates which they call CD9. To meet those dates I need to get my period latest by a certain date so that I can be on BCP for a minimum of 12 days. This is so stressful in addition to the stress of the IVF cycle. I always have to keep praying for getting my period in time. Sometimes pray to not get period and sometimes to get it!!!
I like SIRM except for this stupid cycle date thing.
Does anyone experience this type of stress??
