Reconditioned. I bought mine a few years ago, so it's just the 5200. However I really want one of the newer generation ones because they're supposedly a bit quieter. Consumer reports did a review last year. Ninja (way cheaper but without a lot of the bells and whistles) and Vitamix 5200 did the best.
