Class of '16 is on the web site, and some individuals are tweeted (I saw Yale and Stanford), and they typically hand something out at the open house, which hasn't happened yet.

PP I think I remember seeing your post a while back, but it was a little early and I hadn't heard where a lot of kids were going. Now that deposits are down and kids had to decide, it's a more accurate list I think. Of course, kids got into a bunch of other places, but these are where I know they are going.

The college matriculation at the other DCPS high-schools are respectable too. It's good for Wilson but heck it's outstanding for Anacostia, it is superb for Coolidge and fantastic for Ballou. Hooray!!!

Similar kids from SWW and Wilson go to similar colleges. Both schools prepare the kids well and have solid college counseling. Just like looking at colleges, the biggest factor for deciding on high school should be fit.

Don't make your kid's HS choice on the basis of how many kids got into top 25 (or whatever) schools.

I came upon a list of acceptances on google some time ago and now can't find it. It had a significant number of good and great schools. A fair number to Michigan. Some to so so schools, but it's a huge class. Alas I can't seem to find it anymore!

Search for Wilson and college in this site--there was just a thread about Wilson v. Walls in terms of college admissions that might have some information.

Hi, All: on precipice of enrolling DC in Wilson High (our preference and child's and our IB school). How are college acceptances from Wilson these days, anyone know how 2013 went and what 2014 looks like? Our alternative is remaining in a private school (been since G6) that we don't love but the education is excellent. Student a top performer who misses DCPS. Thank you!
