This is great advice.

Also, OP, in addition to reacing the Gospels of the NT (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John), read some contemporary Christian apologists who have struggled with their faith and have come to see the word of Jesus as the truth. I would suggest C.S. Lewis to start ("Mere Christianity" is a classic.)

Read any of the 4 gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John.

Also, volunteer somewhere to help the poor.

You could go to a non-denominational church, like the ______ Christian Church.

Read the new testament. The gospels (matthew, mark, luke, and john) will spell out the story of Christ. The rest of the books in the new testament explain how the disciples spread the gospel. Hope this helps.
