OP, please have a heart. Your house can't be so small that the dog can't come stay over and just sleep in another room? I mean, I live in a tiny one bedroom and could put a dog near the front door and wouldn't hear it snoring if I were in my bedroom with the door closed.
Please at least let the dog come over to hang out with you during the day for a few hours.
